Sharon Calvert. Known to me simply as "Granny", my whole life.
There are TOO many memories to list. Memories I will forever cherish. But I will share what kind of person Granny has always been. She has always been the most accepting, caring, generous, and loving person I have ever known, and if someday I can be referred to with just half the reverence as she, then I know I have lived a full and filling life. Granny taught me from a very young age to show respect, she taught me etiquette and manners and chivalry...all of this while I was in the Montessory school. These life lessons she taught me, I am now trying to instill in my own 3 children, her 3 Great-grand kids (Rylie, Chase, & Preslie)
I want to say SO many things and share SO many memories, but I would end up writing a novel. Granny's nature and personality transcends everyday life. She has left a PROFOUND and EVERLASTING imprint on not just mine and my family's life, but every life she has touched. Granny is the ONLY grandma I have known and I am a better person, and quite frankly, I am who I am today because of my Granny's love, care, and guidance. I can't begin to put into words how much she was loved or put into words just how much she will be missed. I love you, Granny.
