Mary Ruth Montgomery, 79, of Van Buren passed away Friday, August 17, 2018 in a local hospital. She was a homemaker and a longtime resident of Crawford County. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Montgomery; her parents Waldon and Sylvia (Mullins) Gooch; one sister, Arlaween Newton; one brother, Jimmy Don Gooch.

Graveside service will be at 10 AM Thursday, August 23, 2018 at Gill Cemetery with burial at Gill Cemetery in Van Buren under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren, Arkansas.

She is survived by two sons, Eric Todd Montgomery of Van Buren and Charles Leslie Montgomery and wife Teresa of Kibler; two grandchildren Colton Montgomery and Braydon Montgomery both of Kibler.
