Condolence: I would like to express my condolences. Losing a loved one is painful. Even Jesus gave way to tears when Lazarus died (John 11:35). You may be struggling with where to find comfort. 2 Corinthians 1:3, 4 confirms we can turn to God for this comfort for he gives us power beyond what is normal so that we can cope. He also promises that the dead will be redeemed from the grave (Hosea 13:14, Isaiah 26:19) and that death will be no more (Rev 21: 3, 4). Hold on to that promise.
