Arlene Jane Mayville, 80, of Fort Smith, Arkansas passed away on Wednesday, November 8, 2017 in a local hospital. She was born on January 10, 1937 in West Allis, WI to Andrew and Mabel (Martin) Casper. Arlene was a cashier at Wal-Mart, a homemaker and a member of Bethel Lutheran Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Dennis Mayville.
Funeral services are 9:30AM, Friday, November 10, 2017 at Bethel Lutheran Church with burial to follow in the U.S. National Cemetery under the direction of Ocker-Putman Funeral Home of Fort Smith, Arkansas.
She is survived by three daughters, Renee Shreffler and Claire Day of Fort Smith, AR and Yvonne Thurston and her husband Harry of Farmington, AR; two sons, Marcus Mayville and his wife Sharon of Fort Smith, AR and Jonathan Mayville and his wife Tina of Fountain CO; one brother, Andrew Casper of Waukesha, WI; one sister, Joan Langendorf of Racine, WI; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Jacob Day, Caleb Day, Nicholas Mayville, Kyle Mayville, and Brandon Mayville.
Visitation will be 4-6 PM, Thursday, November 9, 2017 at Ocker-Putman Funeral Home.
