Thomas Moody Armstrong, 87, of Alma, Arkansas passed away on Thursday, October 13, 2016 in his home. He was a member of the US Navy and a veteran of World War II. He was a retired builder working for the National Parks Service as a restoration Historian. He was born June 27, 1929 in Detroit, MI.
Funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at Ocker Chapel of Alma with military honors. Cremation and services are under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Alma.
Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Barbara Armstrong of the home; four daughters, Joan Miller (Peyton) of Alma, Mary Ellen Miller (William) of Clarksville, Janice Wlodyga of Pinckney, MI, Barbara Caseldine (Harry) of Colorado Springs, CO; three sons, John Wlodyga (Mary Jo) of Grasslake, MI, George Wlodyga of Maui, HI and Tom Armstrong (Sue) of Maui, HI; 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Family will visit with friends from 5 until 7 p.m. Monday, October 17, 2016 at Ocker Funeral Home of Alma, 917 Hwy 64 East, Alma, AR.
