I have been at Cooper Clinic 36 years and had the pleasure of knowing Wilma. She was a wonderful person! She was very kind and caring and was loved by our employees and patients. She mothered our OB patients and was a "grandmother" to thousands of children while she worked at Cooper Clinic. She had a bulletin board in her work area overflowing with baby pictures. She was like family to her co-workers and she would send miniature candy bars by interoffice mail every time she sent a communication, and she took a personal interest in all of her work family. My sister, Linda Roden Trent, worked with her for years in the OB Department. In 1995 when my husband was in the hospital after a car accident, Wilma sent me a handwritten note and an envelope full of miniature candy bars. She was such an encourager. She had a great sense of humor and always had a funny story to tell. I look forward to seeing Wilma again when I get to heaven.
