Death is the hardest thing we have to deal with in life. I know words can do little to take away the pain you are feeling, so may the God of comfort be with the Watkins family, helping you to cope. Lean on Him in the days to follow, (2 Thessalonians 2:16, 17) and read of his marvelous hope for those who have fallen asleep in death, John 11:41-44 and John 5:21. My deepest sympathy.

I never encountered Jim that he didn't look me in the eye and be interested in what I had to say. He never said an unkind word to me. He went out of his way to be inoffensive toward me a few times. He was quietly loyal to his family and will be greatly missed.

I have known Jim for a long time, he was the kind of guy who would always help a neighbor, just because it was the right thing to do. Years ago, I was one those neighbors and Jim was there to help. He didn't know me very well back then, but I was at the post office and got a flat tire. Jim saw my plight and took the vehicle over to his shop and fixed it - for free. It was easy for Jim to fix the tire - he had all the tools- but his kindness meant the World to me. I will remember him aways as a kind, sweet man with a gentle heart and a kind soul.
