Alan was such a nice person. He was always friendly and kind to everyone back in the 1960's in high school at Alma. I will ever remember his smile. May God bless the family at this trying time. Pete Bennett

Sandy and I would like to express heart felt grief for the loss of Alan. In the few times I got the opportunity of visiting with Alan I saw very quickly he was genuine. What you saw is what you got. But the greatest legacy you can leave is shown in your family and Alan built a monument. We will always be thankful for how much Alan and his family has meant to Clay. We thank God for sharing him !

I am so very sad for all of you. I loved Alan and never remember a time that I didn't walk away from him with a smile on my face. Any conversation with him whether serious or not, had moments of cheer and laughter.
