I've been a friend of Glens since 1978, one of my best memories of Glen out of many was when we both went to Arkansas Tech football camp in July of 1979. We were both Chaffin Cougars and were very involved in sports. Glen brought his entire stereo system which we hooked up in our athletic dorm. Everyone wanted to hang with us, we had good jams going like Foghat Live, Van Halen, Ted Nugent, etc We would crank it so loud we could hear it in the showers down the hall. We would go together to the student union and flirt with the band girs who were at their camp. Both of us wanted to be invited to the band dance. Football players were only allowed to go if invited by a girl, needless to say , we were invited by several girls each and we ended up going with 4 or 5 girls and we had a blast.The whole camp experience was great for both of us for football and for being on our own and soccializing. Glen was my best friend and my neighbor. My mom called him her other son as he was always at our house. Glen you are missed my friend. John Granderson

I was shocked to hear about Glen's passing! I grew up with glen and we had some great times and memories together! I'll keep the family in mind while they go threw this sad process! I'm so sorry for your loss, glen was a great friend and he will be missed!

I first met Glen 26 years ago, he was a very nice person and helped me when I needed a place to stay while in NW Arkansas. He was generous and kind. Although I have not talked to him in several years I have often thought of him as a good friend. He will be missed!

Glen and I were the best of friends at Chaffin Jr High. Glen lived about 3 or 4 houses down from us on South U street, he was always at our house as it was his second home. We played all the sports at Chaffin together and we were close as brothers . We went to Arkansas Tech football camp together in the summer of 1979 and had the time of our lives. Glen brought his entire stereo system and we rocked out the athletic dorm to some Foghat, Van Halen, and Ted Nugent, we flirted with the band girls at the student union when we were not having practice and we were so excited when we were asked to the band dance at the end of the week, as that was a huge honor ! "showed we had some game :) " Glen was always ready to do anything , from throwing water balloons at the seniors going to prom , and running for our lives for our excellant aim, to raising the most money for MS , to helping Coach Bridges lay out the water pipes to water the practice field. I could tell stories for days about all the things Glen and I did . He wil be truly missed by me and my entire family, as Glen was a part of our family for 2 years. My thoughts and prayers go out to Glen and his family, he is truly missed.
