russell was my best and only friend i met in 1979 if i had not met russell i would never had a best friend that was 37 years ago i have not had another best friend since matter of fact i have not had a real friend since him which makes you realize friends are not made they are given to you by jesus to help you along to encourage you to tell you things will get better he was precious we were together since i was fifteen i am now 51 i can not believe he is gone i thought it was a joke but i see now it is very real my heart hurts i grieve uncontrolably i lost my buddy the one person i could talk to he never laughd at me never made fun of me i will miss him the times we had the intimacy of our conversations his brillant lovely face his smile i am saddend i will have to pray day and night for strenth to get over this love you verna and chuck will miss him as well as yall thanks for carring about me and all russells friends

My heart is just shattered. He was such and awesome man and such a good friend. He was my buddy I could call anytime and would be there for me no matter what. Verna I love you and loved your son so much. I hope you and your family find comfort during these difficult days. He is one I will have in my heart the rest of my life.

To all the family of Russell Bagley. I am Sue and the mother of Twanette. I got to know Russell quite well while he was visiting Twanette. Russell was a very kind and low keyed person. He never raised his voice and I never saw any anger in him. He was a person that was very intelligent and very polite. He could talk to you and make you feel very comfortable. I will miss seeing him come through my door and always speaking to me know matter which room I am in he will find me. I loved this man and I hate to know he is gone but he is with the Lord now and his family. We will all have a celebration when we all get together and that I know we will. Russell Bagley I loved you like a son. Thank you for loving my daughter and treating me with lots of kindness. I know it was hard on your family but they will be with you soon. My heart and prayers are with his family and I will miss you Russell.
