It was thanksgiving a couple years ago. I had just made my plate, and sat down. Denise came trapsing in, with her two Boston terriors.As soon as she opened the door, the one named homer, ran full Sprint and dove into my lap. I raised my plate up, over my head, avoiding disaster. I was feeling pretty confident, as I out quicked the dog. All of a sudden, it ran it's tongue, right up my nose hole. It got me about three good licks. I'll never forget that sound...LLLrrrppp...I jumped up, dumping the dog in the floor. I said;"Denise, get those dogs outta here. She said;"O Duncan, those dogs just love you"....lol...Thanks for the good times, we miss and love you. May God hold you in his arms. Joseph Duncan Pense

When went on a trip to Chicago,we were staying downtown!Of coarse we were from a small town, and considered hillbillies We didn't have a gps at that time, we were looking for our hotel. We went around those streets a hundred times, not to mention one way streets! People were honking,we found our hotel but couldn't figure out where to park, after going around about 10 more times we decided we found a close parking garage. When we got out to walk to our hotel up the streets of downtown Chicago,we were laughing wondering why we were the only ones dragging all of our luggage! Everyone else looked stress free walking the streets enjoying themselves! We were saying it looks like they would make this easier, and when we reached the hotel we figured out we were suppose to pull in there parking garage to park!!We laughed at ourselves so hard, thinking I wonder what everyone was thinking when they was watching how ignorant we were!!! You live and learn!

Necie was always ready to take pictures and go to concerts, and she never met a stranger. Even though I was a few years older, we'd still go on our adventures. It was usually most of us cousins together. I remember even in the middle of North Little Rock outside a concert; she just went right up to this car asking for directions as if there were no danger at all, and we were all afraid to do anything like that because we didn't want shot or kidnapped. She got directions for us, and nothing bad happened though. Another time she struck up a conversation with a homeless man at a gas station in Nashville while everybody was just walking by ignoring the man. Once, her and Dusty came to the house and had us come look because Goober fell asleep naked when he was living in the school bus behind the pond in the field. He was sound asleep and we took a picture of him, cracking up laughing the whole time. If she was having a good time, you'd definitely recognize it by her smile and laugh. She was always wanting to model for me in pictures which helped me out a lot because I learned a lot about photography that way. She was very photogenic and I never had to tell her how to pose because she had all of her own poses ready.

We all kind of drifted apart in recent years just going our own ways in life, but the thing I like about our family is that we always just seem to pick up where we left off. I know we'll all pick back up where we left off when we meet again someday too.

Gee, where do I even start with the memories I've made with this beautiful soul. At this very moment, I'm sitting in my bedroom floor with my box of nail Polish getting ready to paint my nails. I remember the times Necie would call me at 10 o'clock at night to see what I was doing so she could come read my latest issue of Seventeen magazine and paint her toes because I always hoarded nail polishes. We would sit in silence reading magazines and painting our nails forever. I remember watching Tristan and Isolde numerous times, dreaming about how attractive James Franco was. And I specifically remember watching the movie Hound dog with her that had a scene that we just thought was hilarious. We would rewind it and play it over in slow motion and I can still hear her laugh. It's burned in to my mind. I could write a novel of all the memories we have together. We may have drifted apart over the years, but no time apart could ever change the fact that she was like a sister to me. I miss you and think of you every day Necie. I love you forever.

I met denise when i was 16 years old she was absolutely amazing she was the most beautiful girl i had ever laid eyes upon i told myself from day one that i would marry that girl and i did we fell in love she was my one true love something i will never forget about her is her beautiful smile and that wonderful outgoing personality words could never describe the way i felt for her and still do she was my best friend and wife and she could make you smile or laugh at any time. If denise wasnt happy nobody was she had a great impact on many peoples lives especailly mine she changed me for the better by meeting her my outlook on life love and many other things she made me realize how beautiful and fun the world is we had our ups and our downs but we stuck together forever and always denise i will see you again soon

Necy. Loved here animals. She got her first horses at 4 years of age . She begged for mini horses for Christmas. For her and Dustin: but Denise and Desaray were more interested in the horses.. Denise and Desaray played with the horses daily . Then when Denise around 10 years old they got quarter horses and Denise, Desaray and Kallie road and played with the horses almost everyday. Till they began to get into barrel racing compitions and got very good at it. Denise loved her animals horses,dogs, pigs? Ect

I grew up knowing the Pense family and Denise. She was a very vibrant and energetic young lady always smiling and having a good laugh. My condolences to the family during this time of sadness. I know all the too well what this must feel like and would like to keep you and yours in my prayers. Thank you all for raising such a sweet young woman and she was a blessing to all she knew.

We never knew this young girl, but we are really close to her cousin, Megan. Megan and her entire family will be in our thoughts and prayers and I hope God opens his loving arms and wraps them around this family and help them to deal with this loss.
