My heartfelt sympathy goes out to Debrah and all of the family of Coach Comer, whom I had the great pleasure of knowing all of my life. Coach was a friend, and a true member of our graduating class of 1971 for which there will always be those wonderful times I did get to share with Coach during our younger years. Coach was a great man, he impacted my life in a tremendous way. Coach was more than just our bus driver, he was our hero, he stopped the bullying, talked one on one with us and keep us in good heart. God bless him and his family.

Justin, Forgive the unintended slight, I wanted to say something that only a son can relate to, got distracted and forgot to get back to you til now. Your dad was a great guy, and if you are like me, there may have been a time or two you did not whole heartedly agree. The thing is, there are things that only a father and son would understand. You know your dad was a good man. I believe when he arrived at the gates of Heaven, he heard, "Well done, my good and faithful servant." Got up early this morning & sat down to read the newspaper. I have not been on the computer in days, so I was a bit shocked when I saw the Obit for Dale Coomer. Coach you were a fine man, and you touched a lot of lives as a coach, teacher and friend, including mine. I believe all of us are better for it too. You will be missed. Debbie, Danielle, and Desaray, I am so sorry for your loss, and I have already spoken a prayer for you all, for the Lord to comfort you during this time. There are no words that can adequately express my sympathy, so just know, my thoughts and prayers are with you. While we feel loss, Heaven is rejoicing that he is home. Miss Debbie we just wanted you to know you are in our thoughts and prayers! Dale was a really a great guy and will surely be missed by many. I told Linda he was one of the good guys!
