Martin was one of the finest men I have ever known. He was certainly hard working and generous with his time and talents and he had the ability to make people around him feel good. Deepest sympathy to all the family. I have prayed for you often and will continue to do so especially when I drink from the mug that you once gave me! Fr. Ralph

Martin was a gentle giant. I enjoyed his company and working with him. One of my fondest memories was working with him on a team. He and I were to observe how a process on third shift and report this information back to the team. About 5AM we decided to put our finding into the computer. Martin was typing and I was sitting behind him reading our notes. Martin would stop every now and then to gather his thoughts. One particular pause was very long. I got up to view the monitor to see where we were in our thought process, that's when I noticed that Martin had fallen asleep. We had a good laugh over that one. Everyone at Whirlpool had a Martin story. He was a good man and will me missed.

I am so sorry to hear of Mr Martin's passing. Miss Janie, you and your family are in my prayers. I will not be able to attend the service at St Michaels but please remember you are in my prayers.

I am so sorry for your loss. Martin was a great man, and I know he will be missed by many. I hate that I will be unable to attend his service as I am out of town for a death in my family. I will have you in my thoughts.
