Hey babe wanting you to know how special our friendship meant to me.This last year we had so much fun together getting out in Our jeep. Our many many road trips all over the river valley and northwest was the best times in my life with you. We seen such beauty in the scenery, wildlife even the wild boar and bears and soooo many deer. From having the top off the jeep the radio up singing so loud on all the dirt roads we traveled to the high creeks we would cross and the deep long mud holes we would hit so fast getting filthy ourselfs to going down some questionable trails we never quit smiling and laughing and yes crying a few times I just want you to know how grateful I am for us being "bestirs"!!! I miss and love you daily. I'll see you soon babe.

I was blessed to see Melinda just before she passed. We shared some memories, one being a time when I was around 4 years old. It is clear in my mind. Melinda was trying to take a picture of me but kept moving me around. I was sitting in the grass, on top of the slide, under the slide and on and on. I bet I moved 20 times. Melinda said to me "I had to get it right, back then you only had one shot." Clearly, she got it right and took her one shot at living life on her terms and enjoying EVERYthing to the fullest. I love you Melinda and will carry your spirit in my heart. Sisters for Infinity

My sissy and I were not that close until about 3-4 years ago. We started getting together more often. I found that even though we didn't have a lot in common she was such fun to be around. Magnetic. I started to see the spriit and love for life inside her that I didn't know about and what a completely beautiful person she was long before she got sick. I admit, I was jealous of the fact that the woman never took a bad picture. Selfie extraordinare. She was crazy. My life has been forever changed by her love for life, friends, and her total devotion to the love of her life, Toby. I want to be like her, live life to the fullest and not let it pass me by. I love you sissy. It has been a privilage indeed.

So sorry for your loss. Melinda was such a caring, sweet, beautiful and kind-hearted person. She is loved by many and will be missed. She is no longer suffering and in pain. That I am very thankful for. We love you Melinda and miss you sooo very much. Fly high with the other angels in heaven and rest in the Father's arms, you deserve it! =)

Went to Ft. Lauderdale and was at the beach. Wind was blowing so hard we couldn't hear each other talk so we were screaming in each other's ear. When we took this pic we were just screaming into air. It was a rough trip on her but that day, at that beach, Melinda was so ALIVE. She was trying to stand on a rock in the ocean, just a few feet in from where the tide was reaching. She would run out, step on the rock and run back in between waves. But one wave got built way up and she was a lil slow on this run, and CRASH, the wave hit while she was still on the rock and soaked her from waist down. I can still see the look on her face. I miss her so much
