I'm sorry that June died. She seemed like a nice person even though I didn't know her that much. At least she's not in pain anymore. Although, I'm a little sad to see that my family will honor a dead sister, yet neglect their own family. I hope they will miss me as much when I'm gone.

Our dear, sweet sister , June, will be missed terribly. She was a faithful servant to the Lord and now she is rejoicing with Him eternally. I've known her all my life and never saw anything but godliness in her. She loved to read Bible and talk about Jesus and witness to lost souls. I only saw her as a good testimony to everyone around her. She was always happy and had a smile on her face. She will be missed greatly by all those who knew her. My prayers are with her husband, Rob for I know he misses her greatly. R.I.P. dear sister in the Lord. Until we meet again in heaven goodbye.

June Walker was proud to be an active member of the Tony Alamo Christian Minis-tries .June loved Tony and Susan Alamo with all her heart. They taught her the King James version of the Bible and she followed their teachings as they followed the Lord Jesus Christ. In the midst of the persecutions that the church is facing through false brethren, June faced her own personal sufferings and battles,but she wanted you to know wherever she went that she believed totally in Jesus and in her pastors Tony and Susan Alamo.June did many good things and people will always remember these things; but June left behind much more; she learned in the crucible of suffering the alphabet of Love .Many people do good deeds but if that were the end of all things then to be a philanthropist you could be saved. Or perhaps all we would have to do was join the Peace Corps instead of The Body of Christ. 1Co 13:1 Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal. 1Co 13:2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing. 1Co 13:3 And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing. June was a born again Christian and she learned the true meaning of what love is, for Christ first showed her that love, and Tony and Susan Alamo followed Christ, and June was their "epistle written in our hearts, known and read of all men."(2 Cor 3:2) June learned the true meaning of Love (Charity)and she will live in the fruit of Its perfection for ever. 1Co 13:4 Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, 1Co 13:5 Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil; 1Co 13:6 Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth; 1Co 13:7 Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things. 1Co 13:8 Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away. 1Co 13:9 For we know in part, and we prophesy in part. 1Co 13:10 But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away. 1Co 13:12 For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known. June touched the life of many people, who have received hope, truth and reality in Jesus through her testimony. Her faith has been made sight now, but by faith she suffered like the best of them in the Hall of Faith(Heb. Chap. 11)... that they might receive a better resurrection....(Of whom the world is not worthy.) Just as the Word of God lives on....we read It and believe It,do It and are better for It...so,yes,a memory (a testimony) READ and BRED in our minds and hearts can live on and win many to Jesus--I believe that today. I first met June in October of 1996 in New Jersey.I was a visiting Christian,my husband was in the military. A dressy lady humbly served guest. She came over to my family and wanted to make sure that we were getting enough to eat. Later, she and a few other sisters shared their testimonies with me. I was so impressed! Without a shadow of a doubt, it was because of her preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ that I finally came to the church. June Walker didn't just treat me as another sister, she spoke to me as a daughter. Just as she had been instructed, she showed me through the bible my duty as a Christian woman, wife and mother. I'll never forget the wonderful times we shared together. Her memory will forever be with me. Kateri

Rob, When I was just a young child I remember a handicapped young woman that June took into her home. Even in such a young child’s mind, I remember marvelling over the care she gave this young woman. Then there was Margarita, the elderly woman with poor health who she took care of with such detail. And the little girl whose mother didn’t want her, June took her into her home and into her heart and ministered to her physically and spiritually with so much love. None of these good things that she did as unto the Lord went unnoticed. God saw it all. The souls that she won were many. She is one that never lost that first love of winning souls, even in her suffering. Satan wasn’t able to silence her with affliction or pain, rather she used her sickness as a chance to reach more people to tell of the Power of God. God heard her witnessing to her nurses and everyone she came in contact with. God was her first love. When most of her family, her brother and sister and children, wanted to live their own lives, she continued on giving herself fully to God, believing His Word that there is no greater love that a person could show than to lay down their life for a loved one. She stood on God’s Word when He, through our Pastor Tony, years ago told her that if she continues to serve the Lord it would be her sister, Gingers, only hope to make it to heaven. Our beloved sister June is now in heavenly bliss. We will miss her, her contagious smile and her kindness and compassion for others. June was a true sister in the Lord; she encouraged and lifted you up; was there to help at any given time, and eager to tell others about her Savior. Although it is sad to not have her here with us, it is wonderful to know that she is in Heaven with our Lord, no more pain, no more sorrow, just eternal joy and rejoicing with all the saints in Heaven. She fought the good fight of faith; she ran her race and made it to the finish line, HEAVEN. It is worth it all!!! Praise the Lord!!! We love you June, and we will continue on in our race, so we too can make it to the finish line, and be together again in our eternal home.

I only knew June for a few short years but she made a lifelong impression on me. Every time she opened her mouth spiritual words of encouragement came out and I always wanted to hear more. If I had to pick one Bible verse to describe her it would be John 7:38 which reads, "He that believeth on me (Jesus), as the scripture hath said, out of their belly shall flow rivers of living water." My prayers go out to her family and especially her husband Rob who I knew to be a wonderful and kind person as well.

I called June about 2 1/2 months ago to talk with her since I hadn't been able to talk to her for a little while. When she answer the phone she said she was so exited that I called because she had something she wanted to tell me. June said, "A few days ago I was in excruciating pain so I was praying and asking the Lord to take away the pain, to help me, send Your ministering angeles to me." June said all of a sudden she heard me singing the song, "The Blood". She said it was so real that she turned to her side expecting to see me standing there. June then asked me to please sing her some gospel songs, "I Would Rather Have Jesus" and "Put Your Eyes Upon Jesus" so of course I gladly did. This shows the way June was, always loved to be singing and talking about the Lord. I am sure she is up in Heaven singing praises to the Lord right now. She was one of my dear sisters in the Lord and friend. I am going to miss her as I know we all are. Love MerryAnne

June, I am so thankful to the Lord I got to be with you before you went to Heaven. As we were all gathered around your bed singing and praying, you smiled at us and went to be with Jesus. You have no more suffering and pain, just like the lady from the hospice said as she stood there with us, "I know you are all grieving, but this is the most beautiful thing I have ever seen." Yes, going to Heaven is beautiful. Its our reward for fighting the good fight of faith and winning souls for Jesus. Peter and I will miss you dearly.

June’s works that she did for the Lord will be remembered. Her willingness and gladness to help with distribution to the poor and needy always shinned through. She also liked to take part in distributing to those in the church. She did it with such care. Several times, she sent me gifts with scriptures on them to encourage me. Throughout her illness, June always looked for the chance to witness to others and win souls. She told me of a Catholic nurse in the hospital who she would witness to. Finally, one day the nurse came into her room and said, “I’m ready to say that prayer now.” There was another nurse who would come in and read the Bible to June. There was a couple Rob and June met at the hospital. The man had cancer. June told me the Lord led her to ask the wife if she could witness to her husband. She told June, yes! She said no one had been able to get through to him. He wouldn’t listen to any of the family and he wouldn’t listen to any of the preachers who tried to talk to him, and he was not saved. June, led by the Holy Spirit, got through to that man, and he got saved. Even during a very harsh and painful round of radiation, June witnessed to the nurse administering the radiation. That nurse was so convicted by June’s words that she just cried. Only God knows how many souls June pointed toward Heaven and brought to Christ. June knew you can’t just attend a church; you have to be one, and you must endure to the end. “And I heard a voice from Heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them.” (Revelation 14:13)

I spent a few years working with Sister June Walker,and her husband Rob Walker,I know that we have witnessed to thousands on the street in Hollywood and share the Love of God through His Son Jesus Christ ! I spent a lot of time with June when I was younger. She was one of the people who took care of wrapping and distributing gifts for needy families all over the world. A lot of us girls would help her do this and other things. She always had Bible reading groups with us. One day one of the girls broke out in hives, so she gathered all of us together and we laid hands on her and prayed over her. Then we stood back and watched the hives disappear immediately, right before our eyes. I remember June taking care of a little girl whose mother had left her. She took such good care of her and showed her so much love. June always had a smile on her face, and I'll miss her.

I knew June all my life and I remember her always with a smile on her face and very happy in the Lord. She loved to do anything she could for the Lord, and you knew if she was asked to do something, it was going to be done with great diligence, as unto the Lord. She never looked to anyone for a reward. It saddened me that I wasn't able to be near her and that more people were not able to be with her during this horrible sickness that she went through, but my prayers were with her every day all throughout the day. When I found out God took her, I was so happy thinking about how happy she is now, free of all pain. I couldn't stop wondering what she was doing from one minute to the next. She loved the Lord so much and gave all her heart, soul, mind, and strength to Him. Even as she was dying and in so much pain, she still continued witnessing and testifying for the Lord. This is exactly what could be expected from June. I wouldn't have thought she would have done it any differently. Now she is reaping her rewards. I'm so happy for her. We still have so much more to go through, but she has finished her course and kept the faith through it all. Now she has laid down her cross and picked up her crown. We'll see her again soon, for we don't have much time left. Until then, we love you June.

Once when I was a little girl, June was watching me before the Sunday service. I was helping her clean different areas in the church and somehow I got some blue ink on my white sailor dress. I was so worried that my dress was ruined and that my mother would be upset. But June took me to the sink and got as much of the ink out as she could and then, when that didn't completely take it out, she got some wite out and dabbed it over the rest of the mark. No one ever knew the difference. I don't know why I remember this so well, but she made me feel so much better about it. This is one of the first memories that I have of June. When I grew up, I was able to pay her back with some chocolate chip cookies and carrot cake. Love, Alys
