Obituary for Charles "Bill" William Roberts
Charles “Bill” Roberts, 86, of Ft. Smith, AR passed away on Saturday, September 10, 2022 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He was born in Fort Smith to John and Callie (Chesney) Roberts. He was a retired forklift operator at Whirlpool and a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Fort Smith. Bill was preceded in death by his parents, a granddaughter, Season Miller, his sisters, Shirley and Juanita and brother, J.C., Laudell and Bob Roberts.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Chiquita of the home; a daughter, Tammy Stephens, of Fort Smith, Arkansas; a sister Ginger Nash, of California; a grandson, Brenden Stephens and his wife Dejah of Cameron, Oklahoma and two great grandchildren, Christopher Stephens and his wife Cennedie of Ypsilanti, Michigan and Devin Stephens.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00pm, Saturday, September, 17, 2022 at the Seventh Day Adventist Church, 4321 Jenny Lind Rd. in Ft. Smith. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Seventh Day Adventist Church, P.O. Box 180430 Ft. Smith, AR 72918.
