Robert Frank Whitlock, 85, of Mulberry, Arkansas passed away on Saturday, September 3, 2022 in a local hospital. He proudly served his country, which he loved through the 2nd Army Calvary. He served during the Berlin/Cuban Crisis, visiting Paris and stationed in Germany. He married the love of his life in 1957, Paul Sue Callahan and settled back in Mulberry where he was a carpenter and a poultry farmer. He was a member of Vine Prairie Baptist Church in Mulberry, where he professed and loved his Lord Jesus. Robert was born January 23, 1937 in Mulberry, AR to the late Nathan Millage and Lena (Darby) Whitlock. He was also preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Paula Sue Whitlock.

Funeral service will be 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, September 7, 2022 at Vine Prairie Baptist Church with interment in New Cemetery under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Alma.

The family will visit with friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday evening, September 6, 2022 at Ocker Funeral Home of Alma, 917 Hwy. 64 East, Alma, AR.

Survivors include his sons, Robert Wayne Whitlock and wife Linda and David Alan Whitlock and wife Lee Kelly all of Mulberry; a sister, Katherine Reeves of San Antonio, TX; 5 grandchildren and 2 Great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Yancy Crone, Jason Sheppard, Ronnie Millsap, James Millsap, DeWayne Scowden and Larry Sellers.

Honorary pallbearers will be Tom Barnhardt, Kenneth Shipley, Jimmy Moore and Bill Blount.
