Obituary for James Clifton Hatfield
James Clifton Hatfield, 68 of Alma passed away Thursday, January 17, 2019, in his home. He was a retired supervisor for Inland Containers in Fort Smith. He was a U.S. Army Veteran who enjoyed keeping up with the men he served with in Germany. He enjoyed spending his time hunting, reading and visiting with his family. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Stephanie Alexander; both parents, Lloyd and Dorothy (Ray) Hatfield; one sister, Barbara Harasimo.
The family will visit with relatives and friends Sunday, January 20, 2019 from 2:00 to 4:00 P.M. at Ocker Funeral Home, 700 Jefferson Street, Van Buren , Arkansas with burial of cremains at U.S. National Cemetery at a later date.
He is survived by three daughters, Amber Steele of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Kelcey Thompson of Fort Smith, Sabra Mars of Alma; two sons, Joseph Hatfield of Porter, Oklahoma; Seth Phillips of Van Buren; One sister, Paula Pigg of Mulberry; one brother, Damon Hatfield of Mulberry; numerous grandchildren.
