Cleo “Tex” Leftwich, 89 of Fort Smith passed away Tuesday, January 15, 2019 in his home. He was a retired salesman for Midwest Lumber and Supply Company in Fort Smith. He was a childhood resident of Alma and a member of First Baptist Church in Fort Smith. He was preceded in death by his wife Josephine (Pollock) Leftwich; and his parents Clarence and Maggie (McIlvain) Leftwich.

Funeral services will be 11AM, Friday, January 18, 2019 at First Baptist Church in Fort Smith with burial to follow at Forest Park Cemetery under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren.

He is survived by daughter Louise Spaunhurst and husband Ed of Fort Smith; one son Hugh Leftwich and wife Claudia of Fort Smith; one brother Walter Lee Leftwich and wife Bobbie of Praireville, Louisiana; one sister-in-law Louise Root; two brother-in-laws Don Pollock and wife Wanda and Hal Pollock; five grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Family will visit with relatives and friends Thursday, January 17, 2019 from 5-7 PM at Ocker Funeral Home 700 Jefferson Street Van Buren.

Pallbearers will be grandsons, John Leftwich, Aaron Leftwich, John Strizich, Skylar Creel and Josh Jacobs.
