Mary Lou Ray, 90, of Van Buren passed away Saturday, September 15, 2018 in a local hospital. She was a caregiver and in the health business. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Van Buren and also a member of the Cherokee Nation. She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Ray; parents W.D. Alford and Sallie ( Faulkner) Alford; a daughter Sally Dennis; and nine siblings.
Funeral Service will be at 10 a.m. Friday, September 21. 2018 at Ocker Memorial Chapel in Van Buren with burial at Gracelawn Cemetery in Van Buren under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren.
She is survived by three daughters Mary Wilmot of Alma, Cindy Jenkins of Fort Smith and Janice Mayhew of Rudy; nine grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
