Martha Howard, 88 of Van Buren passed away Friday, August 31, 2018 in a local hospital. She was a machine operator at Gerber Products Company in Fort Smith and a member of Catcher Freewill Baptist Church in Van Buren. She was a longtime resident of this area. She was preceded in death by her parents John R. and Lela V. (Clark) Cook and her husband Fred Howard.

Funeral services will be 10AM, Tuesday, September 4, 2018 graveside at Gill Cemetery in Van Buren under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren.

She is survived by one son Jim Howard of Van Buren; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
