Ordering flowers from our site ensures that your order will reach us or the family in a timely manner, and your gesture of support will remain acknowledged in the Book of Memories™ for future generations. We only work with local florists so we can maintain the sense of urgency and quality of your selections. We thank you for helping to support the family during their time of need, and will fondly remember your kind gesture.
We respect the sensitivity and dignity that comes with ordering tribute gifts from the funeral home. It is for this reason that we have attempted to design our online Sympathy Store with the utmost respect to the family and the deceased. We hope you find this service helpful during your time of need and would welcome any comments or suggestions you might have to help us serve our communities better.
Condolence: You will not remember me or my twin sister. I looked up this obituary, because of his last name. Donald was younger than my twin sister and I. We were at Mulberry school. I am sorry for your loss.
But I want you know the impact your family has had on me and my family for these many years. First and foremost the courageous thing your mother did for W. D. Trying give him an education, when none was available for kids, like him. Mae and I were about the age of W. D. We use to play with him and his sisters at the school. The school did not allow W.D. to stay, but his sweet spirit and disputation, stayed with me forever. My 7th child was a girl and was Down Syndrome. The first person I thought of was W.D. he was special and I knew my daughter was special. I was going to accomplish what your mother had hoped for him. I searched and found an infant program in Washington University. I contacted them and the contacted Toni Wilson at Stepping stone. The program they were developing was sent to Toni Wilson. That program was the beginning of their Infant Program. Tammie my daughter was the first to have the infant program by the time she was 6 months old. tammie was and still low functioning, but much more than had she not had that program. I want each of you to know my thoughts and love have come your as a family many times in my life. You guys are the reason I am where I am. I love Downs, I love W.D. We have 10 children, the last a boy is adopted with Downs. Gary is the light of our lives with Tammie standing beside him. Thank yo so much for your help in our life, thank you for loving W.D. and allowing Mae and I to love him and have one of the greatest experiences in our life. Mary and Mae (Phipps) Twins
