Julie Ann Cox, 59 of Van Buren passed away Monday, August 20, 2018 in a local hospital. She was an Office Manager for Jo’s Clean Cars in Van Buren. She was a member of Cliff Terrace Assembly of God Church in Fort Smith. She was preceded in death by mother, Leta (Ming) Griffin.

Funeral service will be at 10:00 AM Wednesday, August 22, 2018 at Cliff Terrace Assembly of God Church in Fort Smith with burial at New Cemetery in Mulberry under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren.

She is survived by her husband, David Cox of the home; two daughters, Crystal Elliott and husband Alvin of Greenwood, Charley Lovelady of Van Buren; one step daughter, Lindsey Cox of Van Buren; one step son, Jonathan Cox and wife, Hannah of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; her father, Clayborn Griffin of Alma; three sisters, Deborah Griffin of Hot Springs, Barbara Deal and husband, Gary of Van Buren, Jan Williams and husband, Ricky of Mulberry; one brother, John Griffin and wife, Aline of Alma; eight grandchildren, Jordyn, Caleb, Abigail, Gracie, Lynli, Mason, Madelynn and Jacob and several nieces and nephews.

The family will visit with relatives and friends Tuesday, August 21, 2018 from 6-8 PM at Ocker Funeral Home of Alma 917 Hwy 64 East in Alma.

Pallbearers will be Kent Daniel, William Daniel, Taco Rodriquez, Ron Green, Jimmy Owen and David Wright.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Sound The Alarm Ministry at Cliff Terrace Assembly of God Church, 3301 S. 66th Street, Fort Smith, AR 72903
