Robert LeRoy Muchmore, 87 of Van Buren passed away Wednesday, July 4, 2018 in a local nursing home. He was a former associate at Wal-mart as a greeter in Van Buren and longtime resident of Van Buren. He was preceded in death by one son, William LeRoy Muchmore; his parents, Ray LeRoy and Bessie Pearl (Hamilton) Muchmore; two sisters and one brother.

Funeral service will be at 10:00 A.M. Monday, July 9, 2018 at Ocker Memorial Chapel in Van Buren with burial at Gracelawn Cemetery in Van Buren under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren.

He is survived one daughter, Gwen Keith of Kibler; one son, Robert Wayne Muchmore of Alma; one sister, Margaret Rhodes of Durant, Oklahoma; nine grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren and twelve great great grandchildren.

The family will visit with relatives and friends Sunday, July 8, 2018 from 2:00 to 4:00 P.M. at Ocker Funeral Home 700 Jefferson Street, Van Buren.

Pallbearers will be Danny Burris, James Muchmore, Richard Ray Muchmore, Harry Thomas, Brenton McKey, Tim Henson and Cody Thomas.
