Obituary for Heather Dawn Shipp (Thweatt)

Heather Dawn  Shipp (Thweatt)
Heather Dawn Shipp, 46, of Van Buren passed away Tuesday, July 3, in a local hospital.
She formerly worked at UAFS in Fort Smith and the Telephone Company at Sparks Hospital. She was a member of the Pleasant Valley Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents James Thweatt and Bonnie (Bratcher) Thweatt. She enjoyed going to auctions and accompanying her husband.

Memorial service will be 10 AM Saturday, July 7, 2018 at the Pleasant Valley Church of Christ on Kibler Road with Roger Russell and Wendell Heffington officiating under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren, Arkansas.

She is survived by her husband J.C. Shipp of the home; a step-son Michael Shipp of the home; and the adoptive parents Sonny and Pamela Randolph of Carlisle, Arkansas; seven sisters , Shannon Nye of Hedgesville, West Virginia, Angela Neibling of Highland, Kansas, Rita Grumbles of Greenbrier, AR, Maysie Allmond of Bosier City, Louisiana, Melody Wassell and Jamie Pinto both of Sherwood, Arkansas and April Simmons of Carlisle, Arkansas a brother James Thweatt, Jr of Little Rock, Arkansas.

The family will visit with relatives and friends Friday, July 6, 2018 from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. at Ocker Funeral Home, 700 Jefferson Street, Van Buren, Arkansas.
