Wayne Loy “Dub” Hopson, 78 of Van Buren passed away Wednesday, June 27, 2018 in his home. He was a driver for Ballentine Trucking Company and a member of 43 Assembly of God Church in Van Buren, and enjoyed fishing and hunting. He was preceded in death by his wife Leona Mae Hopson and his parents, Wallace Pearce Hopson and Velma Mae (McDonald) Hopson.

Funeral service will be 10AM, Saturday, June 30, 2018 at Ocker Memorial Chapel in Van Buren with burial at Dripping Springs Cemetery under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren.

He is survived by three daughters Wronda Chisolm of Barling, Carol Bright of Van Buren and Shonna Rodden of Fort Smith; two sons Jacky and Michael Hopson both of Van Buren; one sister Linda Black of Van Buren; one brother LaWayne Hopson of Cedarville; twelve grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; one great great-grandchild; several nieces and nephews.

The family will visit with relatives and friends Friday, June 29, 2018 from 5-7 PM at Ocker Funeral Home 700 Jefferson Street, Van Buren.

Pallbearers will be Gerald Chisolm, Johnathon Rodden, Larry Summers, J.D. Hopson, Dallas Ball and Robert Ball.
