Jimmy Reed, 53 of Van Buren passed away Monday, May 28, 2018 in his home. He was a general laborer for O.K. Foods Industry in Fort Smith. He enjoyed fixing lawn mowers and working on his trucks. He was preceded in death by his parents James and Sarah (McPherson) Reed, two brothers Wayne and Roy Reed, one sister Linda Bentley.

Funeral services will be 10AM, Friday, June 1, 2018 at Ocker Memorial Chapel in Van Buren with burial to follow at Gill Cemetery under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren.

He is survived by one sister Helen Reed of Clarksdale, Mississippi; three brothers Larry Reed and his wife Sylvia of Noxapater, Mississippi, Johnny Reed and his wife Floria and Donald Reed all of Van Buren.

Family will visit with relatives and friends one hour prior to the service.
