Othel Wayne Lasiter, 66 of Van Buren passed away Monday, March 5, 2018 in Little Rock. He was retired from Bekaert Steel in Van Buren; he enjoyed spending time outdoors and of the Christian faith. He was preceded in death by his wife, Leneda (Stewart) Lasiter; his parents, Othel Willis and Patsy Ann (Boyd) Lasiter; one sister, Debra Gail Lasiter; one brother, Mike Lasiter.

Funeral service will be at 2:00 P.M. Friday, March 9, 2018 at Ocker Memorial Chapel in Van Buren with cremation to follow under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home Van Buren.

He is survived by one daughter, Amy Elliott and husband, Josh of Van Buren; two brothers, Bruce Lasiter of Fort Smith, Dennis Lasiter of Mulberry; two grandchildren, Cassie Lasiter and Drake Fitzwater both of Van Buren; one great grandchild, Kylea Truong of Van Buren.

The family will visit with relatives and friends Thursday, March 8, 2018 from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. at Ocker Funeral Home 700 Jefferson Street, Van Buren.
