Shirley Rae (Maxwell) McCain, 76 of Arkoma passed away Tuesday, February 20, 2018 in a local hospital. She was a retired CNA at Legacy Health and Rehabilitation Center in Fort Smith. She enjoyed doing everything and was of the Baptist Faith. Go with God and we love and miss you very much. She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter Earl and Rachel Louise (Townsend) Maxwell; five sisters, Pauline Kyllingstad, Wanda Moss, Mary Moore, Georgia Roller and Marsha Howell; one brother, Kenneth Maxwell.

Arrangement and cremation under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren no formal service will be held at this time.

She is survived by two daughters, Paula Stevens of Havana, Arkansas, Norma Raye Madsen of Mulberry; two sisters, Eunice Williams of Lavaca, Rosie Uglow of Boyd, Texas; two brothers, Earl Ray Maxwell of Clinton, Arkansas, Roy O’Dell of Alma; four grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
