Edith Mae Strickland, 79, of Alma, Arkansas Passed away Saturday, February 17, 2018 in a local nursing home. She was retired from Crawford Healthcare & Rehab in Van Buren as Head of Housekeeping. She was preceded in death by her husband L.C. “Buck” Strickland; her parents Van Symonds and Inez (Stallings) Symonds; a brother Eddie Symonds.

Funeral service will be at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, February 21, 2018 at Ocker Memorial Chapel in Van Buren with burial at Antioch Cemetery in Van Buren under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren, Arkansas.

She is survived by a son Jeff Cluck and wife Angie of Rudy; two grandchildren Aaron Cluck of Rudy and Whittley Cluck both of Rudy.

Pallbearers will be Rick Patton, Aaron Cluck, Wayne Thomas, Wayne Beckham, Mike Weeks and Lonny Flanagan.

Honorary pallbearers will be Ralph Figley, Don Faldon and Lawrence Mirus.

The family will visit with relatives and friends Tuesday, February 20, 2018 from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. at Ocker Funeral Home, 700 Jefferson Street, Van Buren, Arkansas.
