Uneta Fortner, 94, of Rudy, Arkansas passed away Saturday, January 6, 2018 in a local nursing home. She was a homemaker, a member of the Oliver Springs Freewill Baptist Church and a longtime resident of Crawford County. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gordon Fortner, SR; a son, Gordon (Skip) Fortner, Jr; and her parents, Venson Flowers Sr and Leola (Smith) Flowers; two sisters, Elma West and Joyce Fortner.; a brother, Venson Flowers, Jr; a son-in-law, Gary Montag.

Graveside service will be 2:00 P.M. Wednesday January 10, 2018 at the U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith, AR under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren, Arkansas.

She is survived by a daughter, Brenda Montag of Rudy; a granddaughter, Reeca Mayer and husband, Jerry, of Elkins, AR; five great grandchildren, Michael, Addison, Caiden, Malachi and Beckett; two sisters, Jerry Mooneyham of Temple Terrace, Fl, and Laverne McCall of Bartow, FL; a daughter-in-law Gina Fortner of Rudy.

The family will visit with relatives and friends Tuesday, January 9, 2018 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Ocker Funeral Home, 700 Jefferson Street, Van Buren, Arkansas.
