Fannie Sue Rickman, 91, of Alma, Arkansas passed away on Wednesday, December 27, 2017 in a local nursing home. She was a homemaker and a member of the Alma Church of Christ. She was born April 28, 1926 to the late Edgar and Leona (Allison) Davis. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Earl Rickman; a son, Danny Rickman and two brothers, Truman and Millard Davis.


The Funeral service will be 9:30 a.m. Friday, December 29, 2017 at Ocker Funeral Home of Alma with interment in the U. S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith, Arkansas under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Alma.

Survivors include two daughters, Pat Meadors and husband Mike and Deborah Valentine all of Alma, Arkansas; daughter-in-law, Alma Rickman of Alma; one brother, Sherman Kenner of Rockford, IL; 5 grandchildren and 8 great- grandchildren.

The family will visit with relatives and friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Thursday evening, December 28, 2017 at Ocker Funeral Home of Alma, 917 Hwy. 64 East, Alma, AR.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Southern Christian Children’s Home, 100 W. Harding Street Morrilton, AR 72110.
