Dr. Ralph G. Adams, 76, died Friday, December 22, 2017 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Dr. Adams was a long-time general dentist practicing primarily in Alma, Arkansas. He grew up in Eldorado, Illinois, graduating from Southern Illinois University and Washington University in St. Louis as a Doctor of Dental Surgery.
He was preceded in death by his parents, C. G. “Jess” and Helen Adams, of Eldorado, Illinois; his sisters, Marsha Woolly, of Alma, Arkansas, and JoAnn Johnson of Eldorado, Illinois; and his mother- and father-in-law Alene and E. J. Crabtree of Fort Smith.
He is survived by his former wife Joyce Adams; his children, Pam Ferguson and her husband John of Fort Smith; and Bert Adams and his wife Tami of Alma; his brother, John Johnson of Cartersville, Illinois; and four grandchildren, Adam Ferguson and Addison, Lawson, and Emerson Adams.
Dr. Adams’ memorial service will be Tuesday, December 26, 2017 at 12:00 pm at Ocker Funeral Home in Alma.
