Johnny “J.C.” Carson, 79 of Mulberry passed away Wednesday, September 20, 2017 in Van Buren. He was a supervisor for Temple Supply in Fort Smith. He was a member of Victorious Life Ministries in Alma and a U.S. Air Force Veteran having obtained the rank of Airman. He was preceded in death by both parents Jay Ross and Imo (Sweeden) Carson, and a sister Martha Sue Carson.

He is survived by his wife Sondra of the home; three daughters Johnnie Carson of Fort Smith, Marsha Holthusen of Van Buren and Chelsea Nelson of Lawton, OK; one son Alan Carson of Fort Smith; two brothers Larry Carson of Charleston and Don Carson of Fort Smith.

Family will visit with relatives and friends Friday, September 22, 2017 from 6-8 PM at Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren 700 Jefferson Street.

A family held memorial service will be held at Victorious Life Ministries in Alma at 2:00PM, Saturday, September 23, 2017.

Arrangements and cremation are under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren.
