Maudie Summers, 62, of Mountainburg, Arkansas passed away on Thursday, September 7, 2017 in a local hospital. She was a former cook for the Van Buren Senior Inn, a longtime resident of Crawford County, and a member of Revis Hill Assembly of God Church. She was born August 6, 1955 in Sikeston, Missouri to the late Joe and Helen (Holt) Sartor.

Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 12, 2017 at Revis Hill Assembly of God Church with interment in Pope Cemetery under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Alma.

Survivors include her sons, Carl Smallwood and Jonathan Pixley both of Mountainburg and Calvin Pixley of Mulberry, AR; two sisters, Martha Jacobs of Fort Smith, AR and Flossie Snell of Charleston, AR; 6 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Carl Smallwood, Jonathan, Calvin and Alex Pixley, Ethan Howard and Donald Whitworth.

The family will visit with relatives and friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Monday evening, September 11, 2017 at Ocker Funeral Home of Alma.
