Condolence: I haven't seen miss patsy in a while because I kept planning to set up lunch as soon as things calmed down when I got back from visiting my son in Florida at his college.... When i got back all the newspapers were waiting for me and when i saw i will never get that chance to ever have our lunch or our visits again. It hit me hard! She was my first client in beauty school and she straightened me out early how to take care of her. we talked for a while and i found out we were both from mulberry and my grandmother Marilyn use to perm her hair over 20 years ago. After that i looked forward to seeing her and visiting and hearing about her dancing. I told her she gave something back i've missed ... she gave me my fondest memories growing up .... the gray haired old ladies getting their hair fixed for the weekend especially church and the conversations filled with so many years of experience and stories. I loved her strong will and straight forwardness. She loved her family and she bragged to me every time we visited about them. i told her if she needed anything let me know. oh course she said oh no i'm fine. When she was in the hospital she wouldn't let me visit ... she was so strong and wanted to do everything on her own i just respected her wishes because i was raised by another strong willed beautiful woman that meant everything to me "Toadie". Miss Pasty was my Toadie and kept me sane in beauty school until the day I graduated. I will miss her so much! I know she is dancing all over heaven and no longer struggling or in pain. That I'm thankful for.

Condolence: Poem for Patsy God sees down the road. He sees every bend. He knew of her suffering and what might have been, God embraced her in his arms, took her to His home Where her soul is united with a young physical form She’s happy. She’s free of all pain that she knew Cry as you will, grieve as most do, but remember this… She’s dancing in Heaven above And she sends her precious children all her love. by Kitty Sangster Patsy was a bright light in this world; she will be missed.
