Harry G. May, 94 of Van Buren passed away Wednesday, August 9, 2017 in a local hospital. He was a retired branch manager for the postal service and a retiree for 188th Air Guard in Fort Smith. He was a member of Heritage Methodist Church in Van Buren and a member of the Fort Smith Bass Club. He was preceded in death by his parents Charles and Carrie (Bates) May.

He is survived by his wife Jean of the home; four daughters Marsha Smith of Leavenworth, WA, Karen McFarland of Germantown, TN, Kathy Alderson of Rogers and Joy Browne of Tulsa; two sons Karl May of Rogers and Don Ryan of Van Buren; several grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 1PM, Friday, August 11, 2017 at Gans Cemetery under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren.
