Nickey Dewayne French, 67 of Barling passed away Thursday, June 22, 2017. He worked for Rock Mount Shirt Manufacturer in Fort Smith. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Estelle (Baker) French; one sister, Cathy Bryant.

Funeral service will be at 2:00 P.M Thursday June 29, 2017 at Ocker Memorial Chapel in Van Buren with burial at Hall Cemetery in Natural Dam under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren.

He is survived by one daughter, Lace Bechaud and husband, Jeff of Springdale; one son, Cecil French and wife, Angie of Van Buren; three sisters, Elaine Atwell and husband, Billy of Mountainburg, Marilyn Barthel of Roland and Betty Boyakin of Van Buren; two brothers, Mark French of Barling and Mike French of Montana; six grandchildren and one great grandchild; several nieces and nephews.

The family will visit with relatives and friends Wednesday, June 28, 2017 from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. at 700 Jefferson Street, Van Buren.

Pallbearers will be Cecil French, Jeff Bechaud, Justin Edwards, Eldon Thompson, Donnie Boyakin and Brandon Jones.

Honorary pallbearers will be Evan French and Collin Bechaud.
